OUR MISSION
Through a united coalition of business, municipal and community leaders, our mission is to be a catalyst for the development of a range of housing options for the diverse workforce in the Greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Maine.

OUR VISION
We envision an adequate supply of affordable, desirable housing throughout the Greater Seacoast Region of New Hampshire and Maine that provides opportunities for the workforce to put down roots, and creates a more diverse community that benefits all of us.

We are a member of the NH Workforce Housing Council, which coordinates and supports local, regional and statewide efforts that encourage communities to embrace a wide range of housing options to meet the needs of New Hampshire's diverse workforce. For more information about workforce housing issues in NH and beyond, visit www.workforcehousingnh.com.

What are the important components of restrictive covenants?

When might long-term affordability controls NOT be appropriate?

We were delighted with the turnout!  We had over 40 lively participants who contributed to a truly engaging conversation.  Check out photos and video of the event by visiting our Facebook page!

Next stop – Dover!
Stay tuned for our next Housing Happy Hour which will be held in Dover in October.  Chris Parker, City Planner, will introduce us to form based code.  What are the opportunities for innovation if we take a different approach to planning?  More details soon!  Have an idea for a future event?  Email lisa@seacoastwhc.org

More Opportunities to Dine and Donate!
We are fortunate to have strong ties with community-minded restaurants who offer benefit nights.  It’s Full Moon Madness at Margarita’s in Exeter on Thurs. 9/23.  Between 4pm and closing, the WHC receives 5% of all lounge sales – food and beverage!  Can’t get enough of the incredible food at Epoch? We’re back for another benefit on 11/15.  Just added – 2 benefit nights at Robert Maine Grill in Kittery – 12/28 & 1/4.  Hope to see you there!
